Height 15.3 Weight 1200. Registered with the International Gypsy Equine Association. We’ve had Ralph since birth and he has had a lot of on the ground handling. Ralph has been a back burner horse under saddle, so I’d still consider him green.  He maybe had 60 days of inconsistent riding from age 2 until last month (age 5). In the last month, he started getting used pretty consistently! It took him no time at all to figure out ranch horse life and he has turned into a horse that’s hard to part with. He has brought heifers and bulls up the ally and ran them into the chute, he paired out a little at calving season and he has gathered big country.  He will cross creeks and logs no problem. He will stretch out and cover some ground at a smooth trot/rocking horse lope and go all day. His first day in the branding pen was recent, but no one would have guessed it was his first time based on his performance. He is pretty soft mouthed. He has a lot of potential and even I (an insecure novice rider) enjoyed riding him to push cattle up to the chute. I don’t completely promote him as a kids horse, BUT we have put our 11 year old on him and the potential is absolutely there.  He mellowed out quite a few levels when we put our boy on him as if he knew to be careful. On the ground he is very quiet.  Easy to catch (even when you don’t want to catch him!), great for the farrier (size 3 fronts, hot or cold shoes), he will load and unload easily in any trailer, including our 2 horse straight load and has been around all the funny farm animals you can imagine (pigs, goats, chickens…kids). UTD on teeth, vaccines, worming and feet. Willing to take him home and hold for up to 2 weeks for long distance buyer. Willing to partial/full transport (depending on distance) at buyer’s expense. I have 5 years worth of photos and many recent videos that I can share!  VIDEO: https://youtu.be/FyGeOD4OqJg?feature=shared FMI: 661-972-7669. Coggins.
