2022 AQHA Palomino Gelding

Gorgeous 3 year old AQHA palomino gelding that is Riata Buckle, Royal Crown, Future Fortunes, SWDC, C-N Futurity, Colorado Classic and VGBRA eligible. Streakin With Power aka “Payday” has a pedigree that is packed with champion barrel and rope horses! Sired by Guyz Power Pak, who is a full sibling to Bring It On Guys with life time earnings of over $350,000 in barrels and a maternal half sibling to Riata Buckle champion head horse Yes Im Sassy with life times earnings of over $139,774. Guyz Power Pak’s dam, Full a Irish Whiskey, is the leading producing daughter of Paddy Irish Whiskey with estimated progeny earnings of over $800,000. On the bottom side Payday’s dam, A Streakin Dandy, is a BIG Time daughter of A Streak Of Fling, she herself was a 1D barrel horse, world show qualifier in heading and has 53 AQHA point heading and heeling...she was raised and shown by the Fultons. Payday spent last fall, winter, and spring in the big country of northeastern Montana where he was broke and ranched on by trainer Josh Bilbrey. This spring Payday earned his keep by gathering cattle and dragging calves to the fire at brandings. This young horse has a lot of talent and in the right hands could be a Top Notch performance horse! He is best suited to fit someone who is an experienced horseman that has worked with young horses as Payday can be cold backed, especially with time off. That being said the trainer’s 16 year old daughter rode Payday often this past spring. She got along great with him as he was rode consistently and she would do groundwork with him before stepping on, with this routine she had no issues riding him. Payday is expected to finish out at around 15.1 hands tall with good bone, foot, and substance. He has the build, athleticism, and pedigree to excel as a rope or barrel horse. Payday has had the summer off and is ready to go back to work. He has a small scar on his neck. Located near Bozeman, Montana. Call Rachel Robertson for more information at 406-579-0172.
