Bred Heifer
This is a tremendously fancy female from the Skinner Ranch. She
is level in her make-up with a neat front-end. A truly ideal female
phenotypically that you will want to keep in your front pasture.
You can expect this female to replicate herself in type and kind,
yet still put powerful bulls in the bull pen and exciting females back
into the herd. Her dam passed on her classic Angus look as well
as structural soundness and great udder to this fresh-pedigreed
heifer.
4278’s sire was Skinner’s top pick out of the 2023 Bar-E-L
program for his impeccable design and a pedigree filled with the
top cows in that herd. The daughters at SRS are easy to pick out for
their style and correctness. Skinners see the daughters out of Chief
continuing to move their herd in the right direction. The first set
of bulls at SRS were also extremely well received for their
type and kind.
4278 is bred to SRS Logical, whose first set of calves
came easy, grew well, and are extremely exciting at the
ranch. SRS Logical is a maternal brother to Sitz Profile
and is flat impressive in his type and kind. He is a long,
smooth-made bull with exceptional thickness. Skinners
used him heavily again in their breeding program this
