RCD Guys Classic Cat - 2023 AQHA Bay Roan Gelding - 6244530 -JS Quality Rididng Horses, Flemingsburg, KY - Porkchop, or as we call him, "Chop," is a 14.3-hand bay roan gelding that is stout-made and built to last. Chop has been my personal horse and my go-to guy for quite some time. He’s always the first to meet you at the gate, lowers his head for the halter, and has impeccable ground manners. Although Chop is still young, he has the heart and mind of an old soul. He has seen more miles than most aged geldings and knows what a day’s work looks like. Chop will walk on a loose rein, has an easy-to-sit jog, and a smooth rocking-chair lope. He picks up both leads with ease and has flying lead changes. Say "whoa," and Chop will leave tracks in the arena sand. He has a one-handed neck rein, is soft in the face and body, turns around correctly, side-passes to open and close gates, and willingly goes wherever he is asked. Chop has an impressive résumé. We’ve hauled him to town to pen back cattle at the stockyards, taken him to rodeos to push timed-event cattle, and used him at team roping practices. He’s been on multiple camping trips and has handled every task with a solid mind, willing attitude, and eager-to-please personality. While Chop shines in the arena, he is just as exceptional outside of it. He is my daily mount for checking cattle and my favorite trail horse. There isn’t a hill too steep or a creek too deep for him. In fact, Chop should identify as a dirt bike—he’ll go anywhere you point him. Chop stands tied, ground ties, is a farrier’s dream, excellent for the veterinarian, and easy to handle in every situation. He has been ridden by youth riders and is safe enough for riders of all experience levels. He is the definition of a dependable "packer." Chop is 100% sound, free of vices, and as honest as they come. HORSE SALE TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. The highest bidder is the buyer. Any dispute between two or more bidders, sole authority to settle the dispute as the auctioneer sees fit is reserved by the auctioneer, including the right to reject any or all bids.
2. Terms of the sale are cash or bankable check.
3. When a horse is sold, title shall pass to the buyer.
4. Horses are offered for sale according to the laws of the State of Montana, and the right to bid is reserved for all sellers in this sale.
5. Horses are at the buyer’s expense and risk and responsibility from the time of the purchase, but no delivery will be made until final
settlement has been made.
6. There is no guarantee of any kind as to the soundness or condition or other quality of any horse sold in this sale. Once the sale closes the sale is final.
7. The sale management, auctioneers, and employees act as agents for the sellers, but assume no liability for either buyer or sellers.
Any representations made by the sale management are made on behalf of the seller.
8. Every effort has been made to ensure correctness of the catalog. However, sales management, printer and auctioneer assume no responsibility for errors or omissions.
9. Checks should be made payable to BLS or Billings Livestock Commission.
10. Sellers have the right to bid. The auctioneer may protect the seller.
11. MUST BE AGE 18 OR OLDER TO CREATE ACCOUNT OR PARTICIPATE IN ANY BLS SHOWCASE SESSIONS.
SETTLEMENT PROCEDURES
First - Sale Invoice: At the conclusion of the bidding on each lot, the successful bidder will be emailed an invoice for the lots purchased.
Second - Payment of Account: Full settlement of purchases need to be made no later than the Tuesday following the sale, at 5PM. Payment will be made by United States currency, certified check, money order, traveler’s check, or personal check. Canadian buyers must pay with US Currency or Certified Funds.
Third - Permission to Load Out: After payment of the buyer’s account is made, buyer will receive permission to load out which will permit removal of the animal from the seller.

Please be reminded that title passes at the fall of the hammer, at which time the purchaser assumes all risk and responsibility to move
horses after the sale. Consignors will assist with holding of animals pending transport and assist with transport arrangements where noted in footnotes on individual horses.
