2010 GRADE Buckskin Gelding

ONLINE SESSION – RANGER – 2010 GRADE Buckskin Gelding. We have had Ranger since he was 5, and he has been my husband's main mount for the past 8 years. We have a 4 year old that is ready to continue on with. Ranger has been there done that. From trail riding in the mountains to pasture roping in the high plains, dragging calves to the fire, and flagging/sorting pens of cattle. And has tracked the sled in the arena for fun. He is willing to go where he is pointed with politeness. Willingly crosses small or large water crossings. And he can be left off for months where you can get on him and go without any funny business. He is not afraid of a long days work but is content to stand still and take his opportunity for rest. He has always had a confident rider & feel that would continue to suit him best. He has never been ridden by a kid or beginner, but we feel he would fit as a step up horse for a confident pre-teen/teen. He rides quietly near traffic/4-wheelers/side by sides. He has never offered to buck, bite, or rear. He is a dream for deworming, the vet, and the farrier. He has never taken a lame step. He is easy to trim and shoe on all 4 and requires no drugging. He is easy to fly spray, bathe, and trailer; will back out or be led out. He is UTD on teeth and vaccines for the year. He requires NO maintenance. His only vice is he is hard to catch in a large pasture, but he comes in for grain into a pen. VIDEO: Contact Seller. FMI: 719-207-0729. Coggins.
