2021 AQHA Buckskin Mare x Dash Ta Cowboy x Guys Casanova Cowboy out of CR Blue Mink x Blue Wonderman
Queenie aka Queen of the Cowboyss is a 4 year-old AQHA buckskin roan mare that is sure to turn heads. She is large and in charge at 15.2hh, ~1100lbs; a real eye-catcher. If you walked past her at a roping, you’d have no trouble believing she was just another mature head horse GELDING just by looking at her. She acts like one too! She is a very attractive, solid-built, flashy mare. She’s been in professional training since her start and the video shows where her skills are currently, as well as some video of her at around 30 days under saddle helping me work an unbroke colt and being taught to swim! She acts like she’d like to be a head horse or all-around ranch horse, but she is versatile and ready to go whatever direction you choose. Queenie is not broncy and has never wanted to buck with me on her since day one. She’s not spooky or reactive. She’s sound and blemish-free with clean legs and no previous injuries. She has a ton of bone and good feet. We’ve ridden her outside in rough country, she’s started roping the sled and the donkey. I’ve also used her to flag and work with unbroke colts (the one in the video is a stallion). She was raised on pasture with other horses in a herd environment. Queenie is easy to be around; she’s not mare-ish, she doesn’t kick the fence or start fights with her neighbors – even at feeding time. She is not a destructive horse that tears everything up either. She doesn’t destroy waterers, chew hoses, crib, or rub her mane out. We are learning to value these qualities nearly as much as what you can do on their back these days, lol. She loads and hauls well, without kicking in the trailer. She stands nicely to be washed or shod and doesn’t pull back when tied. She is listed for no other reason than simply because she was bred and raised by our good friend with the goal being getting a solid start and placing her. She just had her teeth floated, de-wormed and vaccinated. Please PM to discuss. We offer up to 150 miles delivery for free, and are happy to help arrange transport or deliver personally to further distances for an additional fee. We will board her at no charge for up to two weeks while transport is arranged.
