2019 AQHA Bay Roan Mare
Peptos SavvyCat - 2019 AQHA Bay Roan Mare - 6277939 - Alyssa Carnahan, Big Piney, WY - Savvy is a 7 year old bay roan mare that has been there done that. If you’re looking for a junior high or high school rodeo horse, college breakaway horse, all around riding horse, or the inbetween, Savvy is the one! I’ve got countless videos of this mare. I’ve had her since she was a yearling and she means a lot to me. She is sound, she’s been hauled all over the place, she’s never offered to buck, and she’s ready to be someone’s number one! The videos have countless runs in the breakaway in no particular order and going back to very early on in her career. There’s also videos of her cruising through the barrel pattern, poles, and stepping off to tie goats. I wouldn’t say she’s by any means finished in the barrels, poles, or goats, but you can see what she is and I don’t think it would take much if you wanted to make her an all-around horse. This mares been in two parades, two ranch rodeos, and countless rodeos and jackpots. I’ve made quite a few horses since her and she’s not the most fancy broke but she does stop nice, know how to turn around, and she’s been asked to change leads some. She could probably make it through a high school rodeo cowhorse run if someone wanted to give it a try. The only vice I’d say this mare has is that she can be insecure on her own. I didn’t haul her alone a ton so she didn’t have much of a chance to be good about it. She’s really sensitive in the face, she’s not a horse you’re going to have to do too much pulling on. She can be a little strong in the box but as long as you score at home and take the time in practice she should be fine. You can see in the videos my nieces have rode her and I’ve done just about anything you can think of with her. This mare hasn’t had any major injuries, I’ve never injected her, and she’s been sound footed. HORSE SALE TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. The highest bidder is the buyer. Any dispute between two or more bidders, sole authority to settle the dispute as the auctioneer sees fit is reserved by the auctioneer, including the right to reject any or all bids.
2. Terms of the sale are cash or bankable check.
3. When a horse is sold, title shall pass to the buyer.
4. Horses are offered for sale according to the laws of the State of Montana, and the right to bid is reserved for all sellers in this sale.
5. Horses are at the buyer’s expense and risk and responsibility from the time of the purchase, but no delivery will be made until final
settlement has been made.
6. There is no guarantee of any kind as to the soundness or condition or other quality of any horse sold in this sale. Once the sale closes the sale is final.
7. The sale management, auctioneers, and employees act as agents for the sellers, but assume no liability for either buyer or sellers.
Any representations made by the sale management are made on behalf of the seller.
8. Every effort has been made to ensure correctness of the catalog. However, sales management, printer and auctioneer assume no responsibility for errors or omissions.
9. Checks should be made payable to BLS or Billings Livestock Commission.
10. Sellers have the right to bid. The auctioneer may protect the seller.
11. MUST BE AGE 18 OR OLDER TO CREATE ACCOUNT OR PARTICIPATE IN ANY BLS SHOWCASE SESSIONS.
SETTLEMENT PROCEDURES
First - Sale Invoice: At the conclusion of the bidding on each lot, the successful bidder will be emailed an invoice for the lots purchased.
Second - Payment of Account: Full settlement of purchases need to be made no later than the Tuesday following the sale, at 5PM. Payment will be made by United States currency, certified check, money order, traveler’s check, or personal check. Canadian buyers must pay with US Currency or Certified Funds.
Third - Permission to Load Out: After payment of the buyer’s account is made, buyer will receive permission to load out which will permit removal of the animal from the seller.

Please be reminded that title passes at the fall of the hammer, at which time the purchaser assumes all risk and responsibility to move
horses after the sale. Consignors will assist with holding of animals pending transport and assist with transport arrangements where noted in footnotes on individual horses.
