2022 AQHA Red Roan Gelding
“Kudo” is a 3-year-old red roan gelding. He comes off the plains of Nebraska where they travel the hills and develop natural muscle and ability from the day they are born. Bred and raised by JT Choquette and Ty Kintzler at Diamond K Horses and Choquette Ranch. Pappy’s Kudo Cat is sired by Dusters Threat. “Duster” is sired by Bobbie Sol Anson (who was not shown because of injury), is a son out of the Peppy Sol Anson. Peppy Sol Anson is a NFQHA 89% genetics sire. He has sired a high percentage of winners and point earners from numerous foal crops. He is versatile, earning 100.5 Reining Points, 187.5 AQHA Points, earning an excess of $43,000. Kudo’s dam is Miss Kudo. Miss Kudo is by the sire Kudo Cat, a producing son of the great High Brow Cat. High Brow Cat is an outstanding cutting horse and sire. He was inducted into the AQHA hall of fame in 2023. At the time of his death in 2019, he was an Equi-stat Elite sire valued at 82 million dollars. As you can tell, he is bred to ride, perform, and work cows. Kudo was trained at Split Arrow Versatility Horses where he was exposed to a number of different challenges, preparing him for any type of discipline and program. He has ridden out in the open, crosses bridged with running water, has been exposed to the slicker, has had a rope thrown off of him, has drug a barrel, is mounting block broke, and has been taken through different trail patterns including being shown at the Northern International Livestock Expo in Billings, MT. Kudo is gentle enough that one of the trainers even rode him while she was 7 months pregnant. He is a hard-working colt who loves to learn and loves to have a job. Will make someone a great working horse! Will help with pick up arrangements. Willing to travel up to 150 miles without charge. Anything after that is negotiable. Will hold him for 10 days no charge after sale is final. After the 10 days, boarding and feed costs will be applied.
