2015 AQHA Blue Roan Gelding

ONLINE ~ ROPE COMBO SESSION – PLENTYS BLUES GIRL – 2015 AQHA Blue Roan Gelding x Plentys Hero x Plenty Coup Hancock out of Country Blues Girl x Country Twerp. Wilson is a big, stout blue roan gelding standing 15.3 hands tall with all the shape and bone you could ask for. He’s the kind that stays gentle and consistent, whether you’re using him on the ranch or backing him into the roping box. Wilson is a seasoned head horse that’s been hauled to plenty of jackpots and rodeos. He’s solid in the box, scores great, runs to the same spot every time, and is strong off the horn. If you’re looking for a rope horse that you can ride in the #7 ropings up to the #15, Wilson is one you can rely on. Outside of the arena, Wilson has been used extensively for all aspects of ranch work. He’s done everything from doctoring and sorting cattle to dragging calves at brandings and working long days in the pasture. He’s also spent time in the feed yard, making him well-versed in different types of jobs. He's also been used all over the northern rodeos as a pickup horse. Wilson is a true point-and-go type of gelding—he’s user-friendly, dependable, and always ready to go to work, whether you’re gathering cattle, checking fences or headed to the rodeos. He’s been on mountain rides with a 4 year old little boy and our 3 year old granddaughter enjoys him in the arena. Crosses any obstacle in his path, and is safe for beginner riders to enjoy. His calm, steady nature makes him a pleasure to ride outside, and he’s confident whether he’s leading the group or bringing up the rear. You can trust him to stay gentle and sure-footed in any setting, from steep trails to wide-open pastures. Wilson has a scar on his back left leg that he has had since young. No lameness issues. His solid foundation and years of real-world experience speak for themselves. He’s the kind of horse that can transition easily between ranch work, roping in the practice pen, taking him to the bright lights of Vegas or the local open rodeo. If you’re looking for a big, gentle gelding with plenty of experience and the kind of mind that stays quiet no matter the job, Wilson is the real deal.
