2017 Grade Dun Roan Gelding

He’s a big, solid gelding standing 16 hands and weighing around 1,200 lbs, wears a size 1 shoe. Leo’s the kind you can go get a day’s work done on. He’s been used in every corner of the ranch; doctored cattle both by himself and with help, drug calves to the fire for several brandings, and sorted plenty both inside and out. Works gates smooth, stands good to shoe, and will tie off and hold one without any trouble. He’s been used to load bulls, pulls strong, and handles a rope like he means it. Leo was started as a calf horse and has been used on both ends in the team roping. He’s also been started to pick up. He’s seen his share of rough country; crosses water, logs, and whatever else is in front of him without hesitation. Level-headed and gritty, he’ll go all day and give you what he’s got. He can get a little fresh with time off, so he’s best suited for an intermediate to experience rider. VIDEO: Contact Seller. FMI: 406-596-2631. Coggins.
