Tried and true, made on the ranch. Started head horse. Levi cut his teeth as a
ranch horse, being put to the test in some of the steepest country in the Bighorn
Mountains. He has doctored countless cattle in rough terrain on hillsides covered
in sage brush. He picks his feet up and pays attention to where he’s putting them
down. We’ve loaded cows and yearlings into the trailer on him. Levi is good in
high pressure situations, keeping his cool and getting the job done. In the branding
pen, Levi is a pleasure. He prowls around the pen gently, ensuring you can
take your best shot. A rope under the tail is no issue for him. We’ve put him to the
test and he’s passed everytime. If there’s something to go rope, Levi is the horse
I’m catching. He runs extremely hard to cattle and handles cattle like a broke
horse should. With less than 100 steers roped out of the box, Levi is showing
potential to be a very competive head horse. He’s good in the box, leaves flat, runs hard, rates, has a correct move on the corner, faces quick and
stays on the end of the rope. A true gentleman to have around. Levi is good to shoe, haul, bathe, and stands tied all day without fuss. He is the same
horse every time you step on him. When it comes to business decisions, Levi is money well spent.
