2015 GRADE Bay Roan Gelding
“JAROSO” | Quarter Gelding | Built • Broke • Beast of a Ranch Horse. Jaroso is the definition of a powerhouse — a true unit of a gelding with a monster build, correct conformation, and a thick mane, tail, and cool markings to complete the picture. This is a ranch horse through and through — gritty, forward, and always ready to show up and work. This gelding has been there, done that, and is ready to go again. From navigating steep mountain trails, long rides across rough terrain, and rocky climbs to confidently handling the chaos of downtown traffic, strollers, bikes, and noise — Jaroso stays calm, steady, and focused no matter the setting. We have even ridden Jaroso to the car wash, Qdoba and to get coffee in town! He also took a trip to Home Depot and was ridden around inside (see video!) In the arena, he’s got the goods. Jaroso has a finished neck rein, smooth rollback, and a huge stop off your seat and voice. He moves easily through a walk, jog, and lope with rhythm and softness. He holds a beautiful circle, carries himself naturally, and is currently fine-tuning his flying lead changes. He’s also side pass-to-the-gate handy, easy to mount and dismount, and has been desensitized to all kinds of obstacles. Flags, tarps, ropes, bouncing balls — you name it, he’s worked around it. He’s even had a rope thrown off him, been to branding and dragged logs and calves, this horse would be a solid fit for ranch work, versatility, or just a confident, broke gelding to get the job done. On the ground, Jaroso is respectful, easy to lead, load, tie, and stands quietly for the vet and farrier. He does well in a stall setting and has a total puppy dog personality and is first to meet you at the gate in the pasture. If you’re after a strong, go all day gelding with tons of presence and all the right buttons, Jaroso is the total package! Jaroso is being worked consistently 5 days a week and does best when he has an everyday or consistent job, he loves to work! Watch his video to see this beast in action and come try him out — he’s the real deal. Will hold for 1 week free of charge.
