Our TIMED ONLINE ONLY SALE Procedure is as follows:
Bidding opens on all horses at 12 Noon Aug 6
Bidding will continue up to 6 p.m. Aug 14 at which time Hip 1 will close.
At 6:03 p.m. Hip 2 will close. At 6:06 p.m. Hip 3 will close.
Every 3 minutes the following horse will be closed to bidding.
2009 GRADE Bay Gelding
Handy is a 14.3 hand, estimated 16 year old (aged by vet this spring) grade quarter horse who is as cowboy handy as they come and he is looking for new employment opportunities. You can toss a rope off him. He will open gates, pony colts, move cows, cross logs and water on the trails, walks out with purpose, rides out alone or in a group, loads, ties all day and stands for the farrier. He is low man in the pasture, not an aggressive bone in his body. He is not a horse for a beginner. He wants to follow a confident leader. We had hopes for a lazy husband horse and that is just not his style, he wants to work. He is sensitive to cues, very intuitive and matches your energy. He can be watchy on the ground, but is very kind and gets over it as soon as he knows he’s safe. You get on him; he will go anywhere and do anything for his rider. He does have a few cosmetic scars on his left side and one on his right hind, but has the smoothest “ride all day” kind of trot and is completely sound. Up to date on everything-teeth, vaccines and feet. Would really like to see him go to a loving home that has a job ready for him. Will hold up to 10 days then boarding rates will apply. Can assist with transportation up to 2 hours away.

HORSE SALE TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. The highest bidder is the buyer. Any dispute between two or more bidders, sole authority to settle the dispute as the auctioneer sees fit is reserved by the auctioneer, including the right to reject any or all bids.
2. Terms of the sale are cash or bankable check.
3. When a horse is sold, title shall pass to the buyer.
4. Horses are offered for sale according to the laws of the State of Montana, and the right to bid is reserved for all sellers in this sale.
5. Horses are at the buyer’s expense and risk and responsibility from the time of the purchase, but no delivery will be made until final
settlement has been made.
6. There is no guarantee of any kind as to the soundness or condition or other quality of any horse sold in this sale. Once the sale closes the sale is final.
7. The sale management, auctioneers, and employees act as agents for the sellers, but assume no liability for either buyer or sellers.
Any representations made by the sale management are made on behalf of the seller.
8. Every effort has been made to ensure correctness of the catalog. However, sales management, printer and auctioneer assume no responsibility for errors or omissions.
9. Checks should be made payable to BLS or Billings Livestock Commission.
10. Sellers have the right to bid. The auctioneer may protect the seller.
SETTLEMENT PROCEDURES
First - Sale Invoice: At the conclusion of the bidding on each lot, the successful bidder will be emailed an invoice for the lots purchased.
Second - Payment of Account: Full settlement of purchases need to be made no later than the Tuesday following the sale, at 5PM. Payment will be made by United States currency, certified check, money order, traveler’s check, or personal check. Canadian buyers must pay with US Currency or Certified Funds.
Third - Permission to Load Out: After payment of the buyer’s account is made, buyer will receive permission to load out which will permit removal of the animal from the seller.

Care & Removal of Horses - Important!!
Please be reminded that title passes at the fall of the hammer, at which time the purchaser assumes all risk and responsibility to move
horses after the sale. Consignors will assist with holding of animals pending transport and assist with transport arrangements where noted in footnotes on individual horses.
