HORSE NAME: FROSTY
REGISTRATION NUMBER: NONE Sells Grade
AGE/COLOR/GENDER: 2016 GRADE Red Roan Gelding CONSIGNOR: Flint Creek Quarter Horses
HORSE LOCATION: Drummond, Montana
NOTES: 14.3hh. Frosty is cute and gentle. He is a nice well broke gelding that is kind and honest all the time. He has a laid-back personality and has never offered to buck. He is gentle to be around on the ground and on his back. He has a good one hand neck rein and will turn around correctly. He has the smoothest rocking chair lope and picks his leads up with no problem. He will side pass and is good to open and close gates on. He’s not afraid of traffic or four wheelers, tractors and all of the commotion of ranch life. Has drug calves to the Branding fire And will pull hard from the saddle horn. He is handy sized and easy to get on but if you need a little more assistance, you can get on your mounting block, horse trailer step or climb up on the fence and simply smooch to him and he will side step over and let you on. He is not spooky or watchy out on the trails and handles all the different obstacles with ease. He has been used on the ranch and is good to sort, gather and push cattle on. Good to rope on and was used this last calving season and did us a great job. Good at pulling the calf sled around and does not get worried when an overly concerned mama cow comes at him balering & blowing snot. He stays calm. This is a great little ranch and trail horse that would be a great all-around family horse that is still young enough to have many years left to go enjoy him. He is all dark legged with four big hard black feet. He loads easily and backs out of a trailer like a gentleman. He has no lumps or bumps that affect soundness. He’s the type that if he doesn’t know you, he can be a little stand offish but is good once he knows you’re his person. If you think Frosty might be a good fit for your family or operation, feel free to give us a call and let us tell you everything about him and your welcome to come try him at the ranch. He’s guaranteed 100% sound. We are willing to keep him 2 weeks free of charge until pickup or shipping can be arranged. Will also help arrange shipping if need. Coggins.
