JUNE TIMED ONLINE – FLICKA – 2019 GRADE Buckskin Mare.
Buckskin Mare | Bombproof • Dependable •BEAUTIFUL• Drop-Your-Reins-and-Go. Flicka is the real deal! If you’re looking for a reliable, drama-free, all-around exceptional mare — this is her. She’s one of the most honest, forgiving, and kind-hearted horses we’ve ever had the privilege of working with. She’s the kind you can let sit for months, hop on bareback in a halter, and ride down the road without a second thought. She’s been ridden extensively in all types of environments: busy downtown streets, quiet neighborhoods, parks, local natural areas, and wide open trails. Whether it’s traffic, strollers, bikes, barking dogs, runners, or total chaos — she takes it all in stride. She’s crossed rivers, lakes, bridges, and gone under tunnels without ever missing a beat. She’s handled tough mountain terrain with ease and is extremely surefooted and reliable.
She’s even been ridden to a coffee and lunch spot in downtown Fort Collins! Flicka has a smooth walk, jog, and lope, neck reins with ease, and stops off your seat and voice. She carries a low, natural headset and moves off your leg quietly and willingly. She’s bridle-less broke, flag-broke, tarp-tested, and obstacle-savvy — a total confidence builder with all the buttons to keep her fun for experienced riders, too. She’s also a sweetheart on the ground — first to greet you in the pasture, easy to catch, and loves attention. She’s great for the farrier and vet, gets along with all horses and livestock, and is low in the herd hierarchy. Flicka isn’t just another pretty face — she’s the kind of mare people spend years looking for. The kind who makes you feel safe, seen, and like every ride is the best part of your day. Check out her video and come see why we’re so proud to offer her. Willing to hold for 1 week. VIDEO: https://youtu.be/iHRSpaJpp_4?si=utqM1iaRJdFw5xoN FMI: Coggins. JT21
