2018 APHA Dun Solid Gelding
Chiefs Sedona Saphire - 1082854 - 2018 APHA Dun Solid Gelding - Jodie Buxbaum- Ronan, MT. 15.2hh. I have owned Sunny since he was a yearling. He has had 3 training sessions with 3 different methods of training. His first training in 2020 was for 45 days which he spent many miles riding on mountain trails. His second in 2022 was for 30 days to work on feet, displacing hip, shoulder and ribs along with ranch work. His third in 2025 was for 120 days to restart with emphasis on arena work. I had plans for him to be an English or Western pleasure horse for my daughter in 4H. However, I had a major injury with two bulls, and I currently can’t ride. Sunny is 100% sound, nice to be around, eager to please, stands for farrier, soft in his mouth, and eager to please with all the tools to be finished. He is pleasing to look at and would make a nice showmanship horse as well. He has the beginnings of a collected walk, trot, in both leads in both directions. He has a nice whoa and back and can side pass. Sunny can be ridden either English or Western pleasure. He moves off leg pressure and neck reining. He needs an intermediate rider with confidence and consistency to finish him out. He currently has a rub mark in the middle of his mane. Text with any other questions. VIDEO: Contact Seller.
