2010 GRADE Bay Welsh Pony Mare

ONLINE SESSION – BERETTA – 2010 GRADE Bay Welsh Pony Mare. Beretta has been officially measured at 46.75", she is a mare that just loves to go and a hard days work. She has been used on cows and seemed to enjoy doing something different. She went after them with no issues and didn't back down at all. She rides out alone and with other horses with no issues. Leave from the house or load her in the trailer and take her out, nothing has phased this mare, she takes everything in stride. Out on the trail she has no problem crossing down fall, creeks, or bridges and isn't afraid to make her own trail. Beretta will walk out in front on the trail, follow in the middle or stay in the back with no issues. She ponies other horses as well as herself easily, following right behind her companion with ease. This mare can keep up with the big horses ALL DAY, she can easily trott 12 miles and still have enough energy to keep going. Beretta has a great form when jumping and would be an ideal horse for endurance, Hunter, jumping or anything that involves an intense work day. She will jump up on and off 2'-3' cliffs, crosses logs that are higher than her belly with ease and has a BIG motor. Beretta is starting to neck rein but can be a little sticky when turning sometimes - she is getting better and we are continuing to work on it - she has a nice stop and will move off of leg pressure with ease. She pivots on her hind and fore quarters but we haven't gotten the side-pass down yet. She is good for the farrier, will stand tied quietly all day, is usually easy to catch but has her days - we're working on this as well - and stands quietly to be groomed, saddled and bridled. I believe she would be a great step up pony for a confident kid that wants to get out and cover some ground.
