HIP #62
HORSE NAME: AQHA PENDING (RWS Reynmaker x RWS Sweet Gallo Wine)
REGISTRATION NUMBER: AQHA PENDING
AGE/COLOR/GENDER: June 2, 2024 Sorrel Filly
Notes: RWS Legendary Grace passed her good disposition (double-bred Bill’s Rock) and muscle on to
her offspring. RWS Sweet Gallo Wine, watches cows and is a trail rider’s dream.. With only 60
days of riding she had been ridden on trail rides by a 9-year-old , gone to brandings, and
“cleaned the pen” at the Ranching Heritage Challenge. Nothing bothers her. Heather reined on a
¾ sister to “Wine”. RWS Sweet Tequila has a large motor and can slide a mile. We rode RWS
Sweet Gallo Wine as a three-year-old. She was a perfect trail riding partner for a 12-year-old.
Two years ago “Wine’s” foal sold to home in Maryland. Four weeks after she got to her new she
was winning in-hand-trail classes. “Wine” is 2X Cutter Bill, 2X Doc Bar. Eligible for Ranching
Heritage classes.

SIRE INFORMATION: “Reyn” is unshown. When he was in cutting training he had a rear leg injury. He was showing
great promise and we were disappointed we could not continue with his training. Heather
campaigned his full brother by blood, RWS Vaca’s Benito Bar. They qualified for the World
twice in Ranch Riding, were champion in the Ranching Heritage Challenge in boxing, and has
both amateur and open All Around titles. His sire was a 2001 Sorrel Stallion. His name translates
as Cow King but his papers say VACA REY. He is a son of Smart Little Lena out of Autumn
Boon (a Dual Pep daughter out of Miss Blue Boon .... Peptoboonsmal’s mom). A suspensory
tendon injury ended his promising career in the first 2 seconds of the NCHA Futurity but his
siblings have made it clear the potential he had. He is a full brother to Boogie Boon (2011
European Champion Senior Cutting), Wild Thing DNA (LTE $109, 558), Absolutely Stunning
(LTE $107, 876), Boon A Little (LTE $118, 404) and a ¾ brother to Im Countin Checks (LTE
$309, 641). When you look at the pedigree it is a dream come true. The the Quarter Horse News
lists leading sires – Peptoboonsmal #4, Dual Pep #5, Smart Little Lena #6 ($222,452); leading
paternal grandsires – Dual Pep #3, Peppy San Badger #4, Smart Little Lena #5 ($827, 247),
Peptoboonsmal #6; leading maternal grandsires – Smart Little Lena #1 ($1,273,015), Dual Pep
#2, Peptoboonsmal #5., “Vaca’s” daughter Autumn Ruby Reys was reserve champion 4-year-old
non-pro horse at Augusta.
