All bulls selling for $2,500 or more will be covered 50% by Redland Angus if they are injured during their first breeding season.
Breeding season is defined as the 90-day period following the first turnout of the bulls.
50% of the value of the injured bull, minus one-half salvage value, will be given as credit in a future sale.
From Redland Angus: These are registered Angus heifers that are right out of our cowherd. They will be selling as commercial. They were exposed to AI and cleanup bulls for only 30 days total. You will be buying a very fertile set of heifers. They were AI’d to Tremendous 2008 & Fortunate 4154, two of the best cowmaking calving ease bulls in the breed. Then they were cleaned up with 2008 & 4154 sons. Based on a 273 day gestation, they will start calving April 1st and be done April 30th. The breeding season was July 1st to July 31st. They will be sorted into 15 day calving groups. They were ultra-sounded by Dr. Don Beck of Baker, MT on September 7th. They will be re-pregged shortly before the sale.
