2020 & 2018 GRADE Gray Dapple Percheron Cross Geldings
Dapple Grey Driving & Riding Team | Gentle Seasoned Family-Friendly. Meet Clyde and Clark – a rare, beautifully matched pair of dapple grey- Percheron draft-cross geldings with incredible minds and even better manners. Standing 16+ hands, these two geldings are both steady, smooth, and seasoned for trail, arena, and harness work. Meet Clark – The Kindhearted Confidence Builder. Clark is a classic “in-your-pocket” type, Clark is the kind of horse who forms a connection fast and thrives on human interaction. He’s the driving partner to Clyde and equally well-trained under saddle and in harness. Clark has been a joy to work with—easy to train, eager to learn, and always calm under pressure. His laid-back nature and friendly personality make him a barn favorite. Whether you’re an experienced rider or just getting back in the saddle, Clark offers a safe, steady ride that builds confidence. He’s comfortable being driven in all terrains and is unfazed by traffic. On the trail, Clark can lead or follow and doesn’t mind going out alone. He’s had extensive trail experience and handles new environments with ease. Whether you’re riding around the pasture or heading into the hills, he’ll settle right in. Clark trailers beautifully, stands tied (single or cross ties), and is respectful in both the stall and field. He’s easy to catch, not dominant in a herd, and doesn’t have any vices. Clark wears shoes all around and is well-behaved for both the vet and farrier. He’s been through obstacle courses, trail rides, and arenas—and nothing rattles him. With three smooth, easy gaits—walk, jog, and canter—he’s fun and easy to ride. He also knows his leads and goes bareback comfortably. Clark is the kind of horse that fits into any program. He’s great with kids, not pushy for attention, and doesn’t mind being left to relax. Thanks to his size, sweet nature, and versatile experience, Clark would be a fantastic mount for riders of many ages and levels. He loads easily, trailers well, and is always ready for the next adventure. If you’re looking for a reliable, good-natured, all-around horse—you just found him. Meet Clyde – The Ultimate Gentle Giant. Clyde is a stunning gelding with a silvery white mane that turns heads wherever he goes. Gentle, willing, and eager to please, Clyde is the definition of a gentleman. He’s well-suited for riders of all levels and has been a breeze to train thanks to his calm, laid-back nature and love for learning. Clyde is equally skilled in the harness as he is under saddle. He drives beautifully—especially when paired with his teammate Clark—and handles all types of terrain and traffic with confidence. On the trail, Clyde is happy to lead or follow and has proven himself as a steady, reliable partner for any rider, including those looking to regain confidence in the saddle. This well-mannered gelding is great with trailering, stands quietly tied or in cross ties, and has excellent barn manners. Whether out in the pasture or in the stall, Clyde is respectful, easy to catch, and keeps to himself in a herd. Clyde wears shoes all around to match his riding demands and is a gentleman for both the farrier and the vet. He’s been through obstacle courses and trail challenges without batting an eye, taking everything in stride. He has three smooth, easy-to-ride gaits—walk, jog, and canter—and knows his leads. Clyde also rides bareback and is wonderfully comfortable and balanced. He’s been a barn favorite, especially among kids, and enjoys attention without getting pushy or upset when left alone. Thanks to his solid training, gentle mind, and versatile size, Clyde is an ideal fit for riders of many ages and experience levels. Whether you’re looking for a trustworthy family horse, trail partner, or driving teammate, Clyde is ready to shine. Willing to hold up to ten days at no charge.
